Imagine you're at the beach. You're trying to build the perfect sandcastle but the sand is too dry. You need to go and get a bucket of water from the sea. You fill your bucket but on the way back you realise your bucket has ahole in it and you are loosing water. This is a metaphor for your store conversion channel (the path your visitors take from arriving at your store to making their purchase).

Your online shop will probably resemble something that might look something like this: home page > category page > product page > add to cart > checkout. Of course every shop is different, and you likely have more than one path to purchase on your site.

With every step, there’s an opportunity for water (visitors) to escape the bucket (funnel) because of those pesky holes.

Here’s the million dollar question: Should you start running back from the sea in an attempt to save more water, or should you spend the time to repair the leaky bucket once and for all?

If you chose to repair the leaky bucket then congratulations! You have the mind of an optimizer and we will be more than happy to help steamline your customer channels making sure more of your website visitors make it to the checkout process.  We look at the flow of your store, how many clicks does it take to get to a product? When you are at a product can you quickly jump to another? Can you quickview products and add to basket from the collection page or home page? Do you show related products and products that are frequently bought together? All of these things contribute a more uiser friendly shop and will dramatically increase the likelyhood of conversions... which at the end of the day is what it is all about!
