Make the online shopping experience even easier for your customers and encourage them to shop local. With Shopify's Local Delivery feature you can set up the option for local customers to have their orders delivered at a reduced rate or even for free. Using either a postcode or radius filter you can offer customers in a designated area local delivery as an option at checkout. You can also set up the option for in store pick up. This means local customers won't have to pay standard shipping on their deliveries and increases the likelihood they will shop with you over a competitor selling the same product but charging nation wide shipping. The local pick up option also streamlines your customers checkout experience as they won't have to fill out their address (we all know how boring that is).
